Hi, I'm Laura!

I'm a dedicated mind-body health coach passionate about guiding others on their journey to holistic healing and wellness. Having personally experienced the challenges of chronic symptoms and the profound impact of a dysregulated nervous system, I understand that healing goes beyond conventional methods—it requires a deep connection between mind, body and soul. With this in mind, I studied with Institute for Integrative Nutrition to qualify as a health coach to help others in a similar situation to myself.

We all have a story & this is mine...

At 17, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. Doctors told me I’d never work full-time and would have to live with it forever. Determined to prove otherwise, I tried everything—from pushing through and pretending I was fine to following diets from books tailored for fibromyalgia. While some methods offered slight relief, the symptoms always came back.

At 21, my partner and I were in a serious car accident. Though it wasn’t life-threatening, it left a lasting impact on me both mentally and physically. With time and therapy, I overcame the mental challenges and even got back to driving, but the physical effects lingered—intense head, neck, and back pain that felt overwhelming. Interestingly, my fibromyalgia symptoms had disappeared, but the pain from the accident persisted. Multiple doctors dismissed my concerns, telling me to “stress less” and insisting that car accidents couldn’t cause recurring pain. I felt completely unheard.

Meanwhile, my relationships began to suffer. Arguments with my partner became frequent, and my lifelong struggle with IBS worsened. In 2021, I started exploring the mind-body connection and came across The Way Out by Alan Gordon. This book was a game-changer, significantly easing my head, neck, and back pain. But in 2022, after having my little girl, all my symptoms returned with greater intensity. The stress surrounding her birth made me realize how deeply stress was linked to my physical symptoms.

By 2024, extreme stress pushed me to my lowest point. I developed insomnia, worsened tinnitus, severe chronic constipation, constant anxiety, and more. I dove into courses, 1:1 coaching, and endless books and podcasts. Yet every step forward seemed to be followed by two steps back.

That’s when I decided to slow down. I stopped over-researching and started processing—processing my emotions, thoughts, and behaviours. I began questioning my triggers and patterns instead of rushing to find the next solution.

Am I fully healed? No. But I’ve seen 90% of my physical symptoms resolve, and I feel more resilient than I have in years. Best of all, my relationships with my partner and daughter are the strongest they’ve ever been. What I’ve learned is that healing isn’t a final destination—it’s an ongoing journey of self-discovery. And that journey, with all its challenges and revelations, is a superpower.
